Hip Surgery Recovery
On September 7th 2010, I underwent total hip resurfacing for a severely compromised right hip. At five months post-op I am almost fully healed and doing remarkably well (full healing occurs at six months post-op). I began rehab on my own in the Pilates studio to regain the strength and flexibility lost from the invasive nature of having a total hip replacement / resurface procedure. I am convinced the specific nature and detailed precision of our Pilates movements got me on track as fast as Dr. Gross would allow.

I have since worked with another of Dr. Gross's patients in her 60's who had the exact same procedure as I and is also realizing a totally successful outcome. I enjoy specializing my work with recipients of total hip, hip resurfacing and hip arthroscopic surgeries. The knowledge I have gained from my own real life experience is invaluable!
Please feel free to contact me on any subject matter pertaining to hip surgery. My contacts, experiences and knowledge I have gained along the way may help you in finding some answers!
